I'm usually one that likes to stir the pot but I've cut back greatly.

Like I said, I've cut back.  I would occasionally make some comment that I didn't believe just to get a rise out of some people.  With all the bickering, at least as I perceive it, I just don't see the need to fuel the fire.

Go on any board for any team and you will find the same.  Actually, most boards are more contentious than this one.

I've just been on the board for a long time (though not as long as some) and remember when the population frequenting this board was more of a community of USF fans supportive of each other's support for the university. Contention was present but not constant/immediate, and discussions were generally relevant and often intelligent. It was usually a place I would proudly tell a recruit, a young student considering USF, or a parent of an athlete or student to check out. These days, I find myself hoping that a minimal number of stakeholders look here for fear they will note rampant poor reflection on our university.
