I remember the day he passed us up and went to UCLA. Wished him luck, but felt he missed out on a big opportunity. Glad to see him come this way. He was a hell of a player in high school, let's see if it transfers over to us.

If this is the case, why would he have to sit out a year? I thought you had to be in a game and play.

 

Actually playing games only apply to red-shirting

It's whether or not you actually took classes that matters.

We can try a hardship waiver but unless he has a family member diagnosed with cancer or is extremely ill he probably won't at till next season which can only help whoever is coaching the team

Glad to hear the great news! But hypothetically if we can't pull wavier magic and let's say QF goes on to have a great season, what do we do then??

No way.  That was in the recruiting forum, and from before he signed an LOI with UCLA.  I think we need to use this thread only, moving forward.
