Can we unilaterally declare a rivalry with Notre Dame (we own them in football)? Or is such unilateral declaration of rivalry limited to in conference?

Looks like we are accepting the fact, that UCF is the team to beat in this conference.

We are doing no such thing .... UConn is.

I will steal Steve Spurriers saying from back when he was coaching UF. When asked about Tenn he said the goal for UF every year is to win the SEC East then the SEC. Everything will then fall into place. Well now USF needs to say the goal every season is to win the AAC East and then the AAC title. Everything will fall into place.
