There aren't many people who can play pro sports getting passed over because they picked the wrong school. The combine is proof that production and exposure doesn't mean everything when guys that are combine superstars getting drafted. If you're strong, quick, and smart, they're going to find you. You might not get drafted quite as high (arguably), but we've had first round picks which means going somewhere else doesn't mean USF is bad choice if you're pro material. Oh don't get me wrong. I was agreeing with you. That's why I chose Big Ben. USF has a vastly superior exposure rate then Miami of Ohio. Thus playing for USF shouldn't be viewed as a handicap at all. With our current media exposure level, we should be in the mix. Our only handicap is our schedule but, by making good choices in our OOC games, we should be fine. I don't argue with a kid's choice of schools as long as exposure and pro potential isn't their reason for choosing someone else. I completely understand the allure of going out of state and seeing something/somewhere else. Facilities...hell, even uniform or gear allotment can swing a kid.
