This. I do think there are a ridiculous number of bowls showcasing some pretty indifferent talent but sure won't say no to more practice time.

I don't really know if there are enough teams to that will win 6 games to fill all the slots.  Once those teams are gone, the bowls are allowed to dig deeper.

Yes, I'll buy tickets and go to any bowl the BULLS are in, but we don't have the following to cover all the expense of travel.

 

So, is "making it to a bowl game" really cost effective to the school, or would it simply be an advertisement cost that might pay off in the long run?
