South Florida wide receiver Zach Benjamin confirmed with Bulls247 that he is no longer a part of the team. The former Tampa Catholic standout did not indicate whether or not he intends to transfer or stay at USF as a student.

Benjamin signed with the Bulls in 2013. He redshirted his first season on the team. Benjamin did not see action in 2014.

What exactly has he ever done for us in regards to that last post? No hard feelings but doesn't seem like a loss to me.

Interesting quote he has though.

He was a really good guy. There's more to football than stats. This is a disappointing loss.

Lol not really. Who's Zach Benjamin?

WR from Tampa Catholic. Worked hard, great student, well liked in the program. Set a good example for other receivers.

Tampa Catholic? Was he a Skip remnant of decent player from small Tampa private schools? Or was he a true baller?

He was in CWT's first class. Not sure if he committed before or after Skip was fired. Didn't have any huge offers. Several G5, but not sure about any P5.

Anyone have insight on WHY he isn't with the team anymore?

Sure, he never saw any action, but he has 3 years left. We aren't exactly sure who our playmakers are at WR right now, either.

I know who he is. My point is he has played 0 snaps for our team, so it's not really a disappointing loss like you said.

I wonder why a rhetorical question was answered seriously in the first place?

Well, it's because the person answering felt so passionately about the issue they couldn't let it pass uncommented on.
