I had no idea smazza had so much sway on TBP. Either he has multiple accounts or many Bulls fans are susceptible to Sith Mind Tricks ;)

I believe the QBs we have could be servicable and with a good running game we could have a .500 year.

Mike White and the passing game are going to blow up this year and go from God awful to below average.

5-7

Considering we were almost a zero win team this past year. I'd say another 3-4 win year is fully expected but definitely underwhelming.  This much talked about spread better be implemented fast and let's have whoever has the stronger arm between Bench and Kean run it.

I got to thinking about how an off season break from football tends to smooth over the previous season's results, so I went back and checked (having purged most of last season from the active memory)...

Win Wise:

We outscored our opposition by seventeen points total (105 over 88). Our average margin of victory was 6.8 points. The only above average team we beat was Western Carolina, who went seven-n-five, while Uconn & Tulsa wound up with two wins on the season, and SMU with only one win (over Uconn).

I'm just gonna stick with my original highly unscientific analysis of five wins. I'd really like to see six wins and a bowl game (even if we lose the bowl game).

So we were 6 field goals away from a winless season?

We lost to Maryland and ECU by a combined 18 points so you could say we were basically 6 field goals away from 6-6 too.

I watched our offense. Giving up 18 more points was a hell of a lot more likely than scoring 18.
