Most FBS teams play 12 games in a regular season.  13 with a bowl game.  There are 14-15 weeks in a regular season and you get 2-3 BYE weeks where you play no one.

I believe the d-fense is going to win us a couple games and we go to our first bowl game in like forever 7-5

This is kinda fun, but a more serious rendition should be played just before the season kicks off...

5-7 or 6-6, and Taggart is shown the door.

 

I think we will be better, but Noles, Maryland, Cuse, Cincy, Memphis, UCF, ECU and Navy are all tough games for a struggling program. Hard to see us winning more than a couple of those.

We should have beaten Maryland last year so I hope we do this year.

I predict a few people getting high on the hype and the apparent improvements before the season starts, only to see a mildly improved product for the season. I further predict the opposite perspective that will say we're on our way to the UAB solution.

 

Just please stay in reality, no matter how much you feel like you want to be "that guy" that just KNEW we were going to be either 1) the come-out-of-nowhere surprise juggernaut, or 2) the scum-sucking dumpster fire that is impossible to extinguish without firing the tandem of JG & CWT.

 

I'm in libby's camp, just want to see improvement and some friggin' hope.
