Any thoughts on why Andre Davis was snubbed by NFL combine?

I like Andre and he did well for us. However, I don't think skill wise he is much better, if at all, than Taurus Johnson or dontavia bogan. Before anyone throws the records at me, the reality is that he was our only receiving threat from the WR position most of his career; there was no one else to throw the ball to. Throw in some of the immaturity and well he's going to have to work hard to get a team's attention.

My thinking is that he's not as likely to be drafted as those other guys.

He also got hurt this year which definitely hurt his chances of being drafted

I feel he does lack speed but he catches a lot of balls and he's clutch as anyone. He's got some vertical ability and he stretches out well with those freakishly long arms. Very well rounded should make a roster. Sj green resigned in the cfl and is doing awesome up there.

Davis is about as good as Taurus and Bogan. I don't know that that's a diss. You're probably talking 3 of our top ~5, definitely 10, receivers ever.

 

He'll latch on as a UDFA. Bogan made the 49ers and then got the boot for being an idiot off the field.

 

P.S. While Davis was the only threat during most of his time here, he also had by far worse quarterbacking than Johnson or Bogan ever saw.
