He's not coming here. End of story. I'm sure he's intrigued by playing with his cousin and friends from the area, but at the end of the day he's going to do what's best for him and his desire to play at the next level. If we finish with Baity and Griffin, this will be a really good class considering the crap product on the field the last 4 years. Looks like VJax is lobbying hard for the local guys to stay home. Of course, each kid has to do what's (they think) is best for them, but doesn't mean people can't get their hopes up...even if just for a HUGE long shot. I like Mack/Johnson/Swanson in the backfield for the next 3 years, so I'm not sweating this...though you always want a 5 star if you can get him. I know we're running a new D this year, and need more secondary, but I'm concerned that we may be light on both lines (and at LB)...not to mention QB. Same deal with Yearby last year. He wasn't coming, but it put USF in the recruiting talk big time. Edited February 3, 2015 by Hem

That changed on Monday. According to multiple outlets, Louisville pulled its scholarship offer from Colburn, a Rivals three-star running back from Dutch Fork High School in Irmo, South Carolina. Instead of signing his national letter of intent with the Cardinals on Wednesday with the rest of the program’s 2015 class, Louisville has extended a grayshirt offer for Colburn, which would delay his enrollment until January. Colburn told the Courier-Journal that Louisville assistant Tony Grantham said the team “needed additional defensive backs†in its 2015 class, so the program could not accept his letter of intent this week. He could find a school that wants him and fits what he's looking for. He has 5+ months until practice to find a new school.

I think at this point, declaring yourself too good for other conference's schools is a bit foolish. Especially Navy.
