He could get a DC job in the nfl. His linebacking unit overachieved.

Overachieved? I like Jim Leavitt just as much as the next guy, but Bowman, Willis, Smith and company are arguably the best LB corps in the NFL...

Totally agree. Can we just forget what he did for our program and never mention his name again?

For what it is worth, Bowman was out the entire year from the injury he sustained in the NFC Championship game last year.  Patrick Willis missed 10 games and Aldon Smith was suspended for 9 games.  Rookies Chris Borland and Aaron Lynch played well this season.

Seems anyone they put in at LB plays really well. He (and scouts) have to be doing something right.

So well they aren't in the playoffs and their HC lost his job at the end of the season.

  Their head coach lost his job because he's too arrogant for the 49ers owner. One 8-8 season doesn't get you fired after back to back to back nfc championship appearances

Arrogant? That's putting it nicely. And rumor has it he lost the locker room too. And a playoff appearance would have probably meant he'd still be there, don't you think? Edited by slick1ru2

You do know their offense was the issue, right?  Anyhow, was not wanting to debate the overachieved part, just sharing that others had to step up.
