White will definitely improve next season just not sure how many more wins he can help get us. My prediction earlier was that next year we could get to 7 with all of our young guys getting so much playing time now. No doubt he has gotten better this year. I hope he really does get a lot better.

I disagree that Mike White is not good enough to win next year. He absolutely is capable of being a bowl-worthy QB and more.

I would like to see a better defense. Wonder what will happen with Bres.

I would like to see Taggart do a better job of communicating. If you're not winning, you better be selling a vision.

I would like to see the penalties improve and the pace pick up.

I absolutely agree. He has made significant strides since last year. He did not have a dominating performance against memphis, but he played very well despite the offensive line leaving him out to dry. If he'd had some time he would likely have had a huge game. Not having thor hurt big time.

As far as QBs go -- White is not good.

 

 

He may have improved since last year -- but, a step up from terrible is still just -- bad.

Did you see that side arm throw Mike White made. That was awesome. Also remember Eric Mayes is suppose to come in next year and hopefully Rohan Blackwood. I think we may switch back to the 4-3.

So you'd prefer to dump him next year and not reap the benefits of the last year and a half? I would agree if we find a better alternative that outperforms him in camp off season and in practice. But that seems like a very long shot.

ckparrot has nailed this in other threads. we either give him 2+ years or just fire him now.

The QB's on this roster are not good enough to win next year. He'll have to recruit someone this year and nobody is starting in this offense year 1 and excelling.

I think this is the real issue.

 

Yes, this is THE issue. Without a decent QB, this offense does NOT work.
