This team has been playing soft ever since the second year of Holtz. I remember the blowout loss we had in Pitt 2011, on national tv....that was our conference opener that year. The team lost six of their next seven and were never the same since.

Worst part is the 3-4 defense is designed to get pressure on the quarterback.

No fire or passion.  Defenders engage blockers and then look like they're dancing with them. 

 

Nobody fights to shed a block. Very sad.  I miss the CJL/Wally Burnham defenses

It was the Rikers Island Bowl and USF was the pillow biters, while UC was the Bubba's

Our MLB wouldn't have made the 3-deep on my HS team.  He would have been moved to OL because he's slow and always out of position.  MOF, our entire front seven were mainly pylons last night.  They should be well rested for this next game.
