Although we would not be mathematically eliminated from a bowl game, if we lose to Tulsa, I think our season will not be salvageable.

I think that's fair.

It's not like the team operates inside a bubble. I'm sure they're aware of what a loss to Tulsa would look like. Although our competition - UCF aside - is arguably 'bad' for the rest of the season, losing to Tulsa would carry considerable emotional weight (is that the right phrase?). We can't say "Oh, well, we lost a game we should have won", given what we've seen thus far. We appear to be two evenly matched teams, and I want USF to win another conference game. Now.

If we lose to Tulsa Taggart might start to lose some of the locker room.

This game could go either way, but USF has won only one road game against an FBS opponent under CWT. After the second half meltdown against ECU, it will be interesting to see if CWT has begun to lose parts of the team and if they show up on Saturday.

I watched enough of the Tulsa-Temple game to know that USF will need to show up to win.

And that team was UConn. Tulsa is bad too, but they're bad with good offense.

Let's ruin Tulsa's homecoming.  This week is the true test of this team.  Can we travel on the road and defeat the mighty Golden Hurricanes?

I'm serious.  All we know now is that we are better than UConn and WCU.  This is it, fellas.  This is the game that will define 2014 USF Bulls Football.  It starts Saturday.

Don't let me down, fellas.

Go Bulls!

There are no excuses for this game.

Beatable opponent, the offense has had a year and a half in the system, he's had 2 spring practices 2 fall practices and one and a half recruiting classes. The offense is close to full strength and this is around the same time his WKU team started to turnaround.

If we lose, the wheels will fall of the bus.

A lot riding on this game.

By the stats, they move the ball pretty well but we should be able to get a lot of pressure on their QB and take the ball away. That may be the difference in this game.

Tulsa is bad. A loss here will pretty much kill any shot of going to a bowl.

It is a must win if we are going to be bowl eligible.  We play much better teams than Tulsa...we must win.

First USF game I get to see live since Notre Dame.

Seen Tulsa play live twice this year. They are bad (paid 7.50 for a seat at the 50 behind the USF bench)! But the come out strong in the second half. USF has not. Should be easily beatable if we run the ball well and stop them for running.
