  1. Someone take Barnett's sous vide device and give it to McCloud because he may as well be the new starter
  2. I did learn that although Blake Barnett sucks as a qb he can sous vide some steak... Catch him at Burns steakhouse next season...
  3. This photo was about a mile from my apartment. White oak bayou with i-10 in the background. There's a bike trail way down there. Usually about 30 feet lower. Included a non flooded photo looking at that bridge
  4. Very glad I did not post my thoughts after 1st quarter. It's Syracuse game all over
  5. Got all the essentials to ride this out in Houston. Does CBS sports have a pay for stream tomorrow?
  6. Taggart is a Harbaugh disciple. He does not care what people think and will do what ever it takes to win, especially poaching kids he got committed to us. I'm not too concerned about it as he can only do this to us once.
  7. Bummed he won't be back, but we seem to have a stable of running backs plus Quinton Flowers. Running backs have a very limited carreer now. Best to earn while he can and maybe does well add gets a big contract after 3 years
  8. I'd like to thank Coach T and Leavitt for opening up the new USF Northwest satellite campus!
  9. You need to take an Internet time out for the next 24 hours and take a deep breath.
  10. I hope Taggart wins a national title at Oregon and is wildly successful. USF will always be linked with him now and he turned this program around. No matter who made the "offensive shift" Taggart is the head coach so he gets all the blame for the first 2 years and glory for the past 2. I hope nothing but the best for him. Thinking any coach will be around for more than 3-5 years when they do well is just not realistic since we're not in a power 5 conference
  11. We don't have the whole story on what happened. Clearly a bad decision to even be around when that happened was made. Gotta hope he's done making dumb decisions and the USF student board had the whole story and made the right decision. Glad hes back
  12. Reilly no longer playing football. http://www.tampabay.com/blogs/bulls/injury-forces-usfs-reilly-gibbons-to-give-up-football/2269268
  13. Harbaugh gonna be in Florida no matter what. Might as well have him on our turf to keep an eye on him.
  14. Sounds like a pretty narrow article trying to create controversy. Every college is charging these student fees. Even the ones with large donor bases. Im sure there are loads of college fees tacked on that are a bigger scam and arent athletic related. So then why single out USF?
  15. Besides a suitcase of cash for Big12 consideration, Im thinking Chip from Fixer Upper is gonna meet Taggart and ask about his complete renovation of the USF Football team
  16. One of the craziest and best college football seasons of all time. 2007 was also the year of the Appalachian State epic upset over Michigan.
  17. JPP had to have had lots of distraction going into the half season he played. I think he'll do well next season and on a new team. Get that ESPN $ Jpp!
  18. Seems ok, did he do some high school coaching before his ESPN gig?
  19. I remember that hit he put on that ECU QB. A thing of beauty! Glad to hear he's got a promising career going in coaching.
  20. Navy and Memphis wont be as good this year. Im betting Cincy actually puts up a fight this year. Gonna attempt to go to SMU
  21. As a current Houston resident, I need some USF at Houston Title games! I've been watching in amazement of the job Tom Herman and the Houston Athletic Department has done this past year. They really have taken over H-Town. Even though were in the same conference and will likely compete, serious respect to the cougars.
  22. Nigel Harris was out and so was Tashon Whitehurst. I think Dalvin Cook was just on another level though and still would have dominated. I think after playing him once we should do better this year. Its gonna be hard to do worse than allowing 266 yards rushing.
  23. To put it into terms we can all understand, its like the deli at Publix. There is at least two great subs to choose from and either one will get the job done. Our offense became incendiary the last three games of the season. Hopefully thats a sign of things to come with QF and practicing with AW only makes them both better. I think QF gets the benefit of the doubt for starting, but I'm ok to see them compete in the spring.
