The offense has worked very well against ECU, Wisconsin, and UCONN (in the first half)

It's the adjusting after the half that seals the deal.

I don't agree necessarily. We did move the ball in the second half. It was stupid plays by people other than White that cost us the opportunity to put the ball in the end zone. White has a lot of potential. There is a reason ole Miss tried to poach him.

In a perfect world White would have redshirted last year and not played until he was a RS sophomore. He's got a ways to go with footwork and mechanics as they are inconsistent.

However, in the land of the blind the one eyed man is king.

I think you hit the nail on the head. The kid is in reality a redshirt freshmen.  He was thrown into action far to soon and probably wont have his best season until his senior year when he should have been a junior.

Holtz recruited him so he must be a bum ;)

Im pretty sure taggart was the one who sent him an offer and then white committed right away. I dont think holtz ever recruited him.

Holtz's coaches were recruiting him but before they could offer, he got axed ...

Becht said it. But I'm sure you are more knowledgeable about football than he is.

Aren't you the guy who trusts the experts over some random message board joe?

Wow.  No one has ever called the Stanford offense a west coast offense.  I'm sure Becht is right and the rest of the world is wrong.  Please find me a quote of anyone else in the world calling this a west coast offense.

Whoever said Becht is an expert?

Holtz' coaches were recruiting him long before Taggart ever heard of White.

To be real, the Holtz gang was scouting White. Tags offered (aka recruited).

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

"I wish you guys could be in the locker room and be on the practice field because it is so much different from what it has been in the past."
