Mike White only played one year of high school QB?

He's got QB commits for this class (2015) and next (2016). I expect one more this year.

Like the last couple years I am sure they'll be on every possible QB transfer opportunity. Unlike the last couple years it would be nice if they hit on a good one.

I think this is now 11 or 12 starts for White and we've won 1 game against an FBS team during that stretch.    I've mentioned this in other posts a while back - he is not the kind of QB that is going to carry/rally the team.  He had 7 or 8 D1 players on his high school team and he can "manage" the offense when he has a lot of talent around him.

 

He definitely had a good 1st half against ECU and the rest of the offense was playing well.   When we were down by 11 and had the ball at the 50 with 6 minutes or so to go in the game was a defining example of White's limitations.     We need him to step up and lead in that situation and he threw his worst passes of the game in that series of plays.

Disagree completely. White is finding his form...or at least the Oline is, and he's benefitting; either or. White actually had more passing yards than the mighty Carden in this game, and each had one TD and INT. We can wish he was a bit more accurate, but for the most part he's getting the ball to his receivers. It's not perfectly placed, but it's getting to their hands and he'll keep improving as he gains experience. I think he's definitely proven he's our starter.
