During the Leavitt era,

A win against Wisconsin, would guarantee three losses against conference mates

So are you saying the win against a conference mate means certain doom against Wisconsin?

I don't think this game will tell us anything. Wisconsin is going to absolutely wreck us. As they should because their talent is that much better and they're at home.

I would love to see us at least score a few TDs and see if CWT can put together a game plan that makes it at least difficult at times for Wisconsin, but I'm not holding my breath after seeing the game plans for McNeese/Memphis last year, and an entire off-season to prepare for Western Carolina this year.

The only way it will tell us anything is if we were to keep it competitive or, gasp, win.  A rump-kicking won't tell us anything.

CWT has said that he plans on building USF into a football team that pushes people around.

Well, Wisconsin is bigger and they do just that to other teams on both sides of the ball. The game plan that CWT and Co. come up with on Saturday will reveal if we will see any sort of adaptability to our players out of this staff.

We have speed and athleticism on our side. Let's see how that's going to be used on Saturday.

If it's there's no adaptability to our players' talents and abilities, we'll see NC State part II.

ESPN agrees:

You're pressing your luck by acting the schmuck.

So a loss against Wisconsin will guarantee three wins in conference? Sweet!

Of course it won't. Their (fill in the blank) is better, from top to bottom. The only thing USF has better is cheerleaders and dancers. This is going to be a bus vs a Ferrari race. We already know what is going to happen. The team, and coaching, isn't anywhere near the level to compete at that level. Eventually, its possible to be on more equal footing. But USF played to the hilt and barely beat WCU and UConn and Wisconsin is neither.
