No blame goes to the receivers?

I've found it difficult for even the best receivers to catch passes with their heels.

Why did he quit?

I heard he had graduated already and had some nagging injuries.  Maybe there were other compelling reasons, I don't know.

I think you may have been misled by old data.

Last time we had a long snapper anywhere near graduation was 2011-12

Sometimes charsibb, you need to be smarter than your computer. #41 Jake Carlton 6-3 240 Sr. was our starting long snapper and now it's a So who looks like he's 5-10 and weighs 150 dripping wet.

Personally, I'm not putting all the blame on the receivers like you seem to be doing with Bench.  Obviously, you have some bias towards White and that's fine, but to say that the receiver's had no blame in this is ludicrous.

no offense but drops and good catches tend to equal out over time. watch the film. bench throws behind receivers all the time. white throws to the same receivers and was better by 15% last year.

Again.  Watch White against WCU and tell me he was more accurate.  His balls weren't catchable by Superman, so I'm not really sure what your argument is.

Except for when White is horrendous and gives his receivers zero chance to catch the ball, he is more accurate sometimes?

he is more accurate on average than bench is. 53% last year compared to 40.6%

not sure why you use such a small sample size but it has been proven over time.

Small sample size?  Bench had 60 attempts last year with a completely dysfunctional offense in various parts of several games.  He never even had one complete game as a QB.  Not really sure how you count that as a valid sample size.

The fact that White's passes in the WCU were the worst I have ever seen any USF QB throw ever.  And that is saying something.

Back in the day if our IM QB threw like either of these 2 guys they wouldn't have been the QB for long....on an IM team !

Best way to help accuracy.... Stop having our QB's take shots as soon as they release the ball. I understand that a QB has to sit in and take shots, but our OL play is not very good. White was hit on the first series (knocked out of game) and after watching the replay of the game, Bench was his on 4 or 5 of his first 6 passes.

Gotcha. Me not so smart. GoUSFBulls lists him as a TE, and still on the roster.

Why hasn't the site been updated, me wants to know?

Pity MW didn't get to stay in the game long enough to improve. Our OL was porous all day, so it seemed, and was causing hurries way too often--makes me seriously concerned for the Wisky game. Our QBs just seem to be reading a little slow so far, and combination of being hurried and reading late = uncatchable pass. Good news is both guys seem to run the O just fine, so hopefully this will improve now that each guy has a full game to replay.

Actually, the LS that left the team was David Burdetsky (RJr) who was the LS in all 12 games last season.

How can that be?  Going all the way back to 2009, that name doesn't show up in the official roster anywhere / anywhen.
