Oh yeah! Another OCS thread! In the spirit of our USF Bulls, I say... FIRE THE CANONS!

An OCS will not put more butts in the seats.  Winning does.  Anyone that thinks otherwise is deluded.  In fact, an OCS would probably mean less students as I can't imagine the student section being nearly as bis as it is now.

Actually, it could mean more students, but it would take a mental revolution to do it.

Given that we only have 9,000 season ticket holders right now, put them all on one side, and open up the entire other sideline to the students instead of the endzone. Could be as big as 15,000 that way

people around here have taken shots at UCF's stadium since it was built.  however, it is still an OCS and there is a big difference.  Sure, RayJay is nice but it isn't ours.  I think we need to get something up on campus in the next 10 years.

That being said, if you win you get atmosphere.  Just look at the USF vs WVU game.  I had friends who went to FSU with me at that game and they said it was just as loud, if not louder than any game they went to at Doak.

Not going towards USF after that last game

Nice comment considering you've got $260 million burning a hole in your pocket just waiting for USF to get good at football

You have no idea what's in my wallet

It could mean more students, i.e. non-paying attendees, based on last season, but if you were to compare it to the students when we were winning, it would likely be less because there would likely be less seats available to them.

The real goal is to increase paying attendance and an OCS won't do that.

Given that we only have 9,000 season ticket holders right now, there's no way you even think about doing an OCS in the next ten years .... unless you somehow make the playoffs in that span ..... or charge 100K for PSL's.

All students pay fees, whether they attend sporting events or not. I wouldn't categorize them as "non-paying attendees."

Tulane will be playing in their new OCS this weekend for the first time as well

OCS > No OCS

All of you old folks will have to deal with it sooner or later.

I don't hear any of you complaining about the Sun Dome? Why do you think they would build an OCS that isn't on par with that?

non-attending payees?

I tend to think that USF has got to build one before the next round. I also think that you sell all the seats you can and let the students have the rest. you can always move them if you need to.
