my favorite cuban is Moreno's Bakery in Brandon.  not only is it a huge sandwich for the price but they use real meat that looks like you would eat on Thanksgiving.  doesn't look like lunch meat at all.

Speaking of blasts from the past - Aguilas has reopened on Hillsborough Ave. I think they have improved on their Cuban sandwich.

This was the first thread I openly declared my love of media noches over Cuban sandwiches in and began my crusade to convince everyone to make the switch.

They are good...agree West Tampa best cuban gave them a try in the spring or so when in area...was really good.
