Why would anyone leave Cigar City?

Because they are overrated. Good beer and all but I am over them, too much of a show now. I do not like fighting hoarders and traders just to get a decent beer. 7th sun, best brewery in the bay. Not to mention I now have 6 breweries within walking distance/short cab ride of my house, let alone the plethora of awesome craft beer bars downtown. I love that we have such an awesome beer presence right now.

Speedy where do you live? That's exactly the kind of neighborhood I'm looking for. Retirement is just a few years off and we're "neighborhood shopping" at the moment.

And I agree with 7th Sun...

Downtown St Pete.

We have right downtown:

Green Bench

3 Daughter

Cycle

St Pete Brewing Company

Pinellas Ale Works

Avid (not sure if they are just supplies or are brewing like southern)

Just outside:

Rapp Brewing

Pair O Dice

Pegs (cycle)

Not to mention the alehouses like:

Ale and the Witch ( hands down the best )

Flying Pig

WOB

Yard of Ale

Old Northeast Tavern

Hops and Props

Urban Brew and BBQ

Cask and Ale

Engine No9 has amazing burgers and good bottle selection

Woodfired Pizza again good selection and next to Wob

Burg Bar and Grill good selection

Mikes - Probably where I will go to watch games, great beer and awesome TV's

And I am sure I am leaving some off the list

I definitely enjoyed CCB tour and then eating at the CCB brewpub in Northdale on my last visit there. Good times.

Last I checked the scoreboard doesn't have a spot for current bank balance on it.
