I just don't see 6 wins on this schedule. We could realistically lose the final 6 games of the year. I can see 6 wins with this schedule. It's easier overall than last season. While the last 6 games will be difficult, I can see a few wins there.

After we snuck by Nevada to go 2-0, the piling on was brutal, but BA held his ground. After 3-9 season, it would've been easy for him to get on here & spout "I told you so's", but I don't recall ever seeing anything like that. Look, he's a huge fan, a maybe a bit more pessimistic than most, but he's pretty detached when making his analysis. He thinks we'll win 4 games. I see 4 as doable...but I see 6 if even a few things go right. So, who knows where we end up, and most of us can see (hope) a huge improvement over last year (not a huge hurdle). I can't wait to see this team unload on WCarolina, to put McNeese State farther in the rear view mirror. I think we'll win by 3-4 TDs...and no one will complain about cupcakes again. You're talking mightly loud Jupe. Listen, I'll take the over on Bausfkid's prognostication of 4 wins, I don't think he's that good at predicting success. While many will not see this as a major improvement we will be much more competitive in our 8 losses. It will be another tough year to be a Bulls' football fan, but much brighter days are ahead. Go Bulls! That's very uninspiring, being competitive must be what you hope for. I knew a coach named Skippy Kragholtz who extolled his players for their competitive play, but he was rightfully shown the door. Thankfully, we have more fans who expect more or he'd still be here. I must have found a Skippy fan..........is that you throwing out the down arrow Bausfkid? Back at ya!

Here's the kicker, We win our bowl game! however it will probably be a lower tier bowl. I'll take 7 and 6 (honestly even 6 and 7) after last year. I think a bowl game is realistic.

We still have questions in many of those areas but there will be not just improvement but significant improvement in all areas. The signs were there that things started clicking towards the end of the season. Now that those guys are a little bigger, a little more experienced and have been through it once I think we will be pleasantly surprised. We definitely underplayed ourselves last year. I don't think 6-6 in regular season is really overstating ourselves.

I would like to see if we actually have a D1 ready QB. For the first time in about 4 years we may have more than 1 guy that can actually play the WR position. We will also actually have a RB built for the offense we run. There were so many issues on offense last year (undersized for the offensive philosophy, no experience at key positions, new offense, etc) i really have no clue as to what this team can bring on offense. We had a lot of real young guys get good experience on defense last year. Hopefully they can build on last year.

Aside from (hypothesized) improved QB play I'm not seeing why I should expect more out of the same cast of characters...

If we win 3 games I won't be shocked. If we win the conference I won't be shocked. I don't know what to expect right now. There were times last year we looked like a football team and times we looked plain awful.
