A resounding memory for me is Dan Fouts saying "Jerome Murphy" on a 4th quarter kick return. 2:14:30.

Also Sheriff sighting at 2:01:30

That was a sick defensive backfield. 4 guys got drafted. Probably was also our best offensive backfield with Taylor, Ford and Williams. I remember lots of complaining about the rotation at RB but that sure would be nice to see again.

I miss CJL, but not as a HC, but as an amazing defensive mind. I just remember USF getting out coached a lot and we never had any consistency on the offense.

Great coach, wish he was around again....

Really irritated me. 

We had planned on attending this game, everything all mapped out for the big road trip. It was going to be great.

 

BUT NO. We can't go. Why?

 

Because my beloved, dear, close personal friends at work scheduled an implementation for SATURDAY with check-out testing on SUNDAY.

That's right. Firmly grasp both corners of the rug and yank firmly and quickly.

I was there. Best game I ever attended. Never been so proud to walk down the street with a huge USF logo on my shirt as I was when walking out of Jordan-Hare that night.

I went to Morgantown in 2008 for the Auburn @ WVU game decked out in my USF gear and tailgated with a bunch of different folks while walking around the area before the game.

 

Great time, but EVERYBODY hated me!! :D

This has to be my favorite away game experiences. Auburn in 2007 was fantastic--everything from the game day experience, tradition, to the fans were a sight to behold. To walk away with a victory from Jordan Hare with a victory and be pelted with "hey, good game," over and over again, rather than batteries or beer was incredible. Auburn fans were class-act.
