It's a habit that she can't obviously break...it changes her from a dominant pitcher to a liability.

That's some hyperbole. It hurts her, for sure, but 8+ scoreless innings still makes her the one of the top in the nation.  Vulnerable, yes, but hardly a liability.

 

Honestly, I'm not sure I can tell the difference between some of the calls FOR an IP, and those not called.

Is there a single sport USF plays where anyone could use the words "fundamentally sound" when talking about us?

Please. We break early on the snitch every time.

Sara Nevins is one of the top five pitchers in the entire nation.  She pitched a phenomenal game today against one of the top teams in the nation.  We are going to miss her terribly.

But we get to watch her at least one more time!

 

Beating the Gamecocks gives Sara another shot at FSU tomorrow at noon.

 

Watching her from the outfield camera, virtually EVERY pitch she throws is illegal. It's all a matter of whether it gets called or not. This rule really needs to get changed soon.

The announcers said she had 4 illegal pitches called all season and over 20 against FSU this weekend. They also said FSU asked the officials to watch video of her prior games and encouraged them to call it.
