You picked two pretty solid basketball alumni in Mutumbo and Ewing..

Ewing got a solid NBA coaching career and Mutumbo is an advocate for numerous African causes and speaks multiple languages.

I was looking more at GU as a whole, not just at the 12 hoops players. I'm sure you understood.

I was not referring to you. More of a reply to the person who mentioned Iverson first. I only saw two alumni mentioned, who are guards. So I replied with centers. Just an example that Georgetown has produced some excellent big men. Mutumbo was always one of my favorites to watch as a kid.

Ah, I see why Iverson was mentioned first lol. I think it was a pot shot at their academics since Iverson went there? It has been a long couple of months at work, so the brain shuts down as soon as I get home haha.

I was listing future Hall of Famers, I wouldn't consider Hibbert one. But he is another good example of a Georgetown product.

Take a look at the GU alumni and the current academic admissions/standards. Lots of elite folks who have made an impact on our country and the world.

Iverson? Iverson? You're talking Iverson? Iverson?

You mean Sandra Fluke? That is the only time I've heard about Georgetown outside of basketball, not to demean Georgetown. Ya she is a real impact maker lol. Go to private catholic school and complains about cost of birth control? The irony is just out this world lol.

These leaving players like Egbunu will need an attitude change to be successful and that is true if they stayed or left.

Georgetown's medical school is where science goes to die and industry goes to thrive

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
