It almost sounds like someone in Orlando was using this as an ace up their sleeve in an effort to sabotage our Big 12 hopes. The timing was too coincidental especially for an investigation that appears to have been going on for the past month. ESPN having Orlando ties, being the first to report the news, and never writing anything positive about USF is very fishy.

Wait let me go find my tinfoil hat and write "The End is Nigh" on a cardboard sign real quick. :soapbox:

I'm kind of shocked that he wasn't the one that first reported it...

I was talking to an old friend in Tampa today and I brought up the latest USF drama - the "academic fraud".   His response was "Oh great, first basketball fraud, and now this!"

I thought it was funny and we could use a laugh, maybe.

Did you all forget that the school in Orlando is just as bad at basketball cheating as we allegedly are? UCF's Donnie Jones suffered some scholarship reductions and an NCAA investigation due to connections with the infamous Kenny Cauldwell. It's not in their best interest to cast stones in glass houses.

This whole UCF/ESPN/Orlando conspiracy stuff sounds ridiculous ...
