True, but the buyout's not very big...

 

Do we know how much it is?  Really enjoyed watching that team play last night.  I've said it before, but I'd much rather lose a fast paced, higher scoring game than watch we've been seeing with Heath.  Same goes for football.  Would rather lose 42 - 35 that 10 - 6.  Winning is always preferable, but at least seeing some offense from a USF team would be, ummmm, different.  Baseball managed about 16 hits in the last 4 games.  A far cry from what we saw earlier in the year. 

 

Sorry, not trying to hijack.  Just rambling thoughts.  Back to White.  I'll take him if it can be done.

it's in the 400-500k range. Drops down by 100k on Tuesday, so we will not hear anything (officially at least) until then.

If White leaves Louisiana Tech for another coaching job, he would have to fork over serious cash to Louisiana Tech in the form of a buyout: $500,000 before April 1, 2014; $400,000 before April 1, 2015; $300,000 before April 1, 2016; $200,000 before April 1, 2017 and $100,000 before April 1, 2018."

Mike White could be a good option. His family is well connected as it goes for athletic directors.

base salary of $150,000. Additional funds of $350,000 from the Louisiana Tech University Foundation provide White an income of $500,000 per year
