USF has highest rated non-P5 2014 recruiting class

I got all excited when USF had a top 25 class. Still waiting on a conference championship.

We get it, let's wait until these recruits sign and then play to see if they pan out. We're just happy that we're pulling together a great class so far (sub 40). Would you rather us be ranked in the 50's, 60's or 70's so yo could then complain how Taggs isn't recruiting well? I have a feeling no matter what the circumstances, you'd find a way to complain about our class so far.

 

Wrong...if Ironside signed, he'd deem it our best haul yet.

I think it's become obvious at this point that we are not going to use all our spots, absent a really wild turn of events.

If we get Blakely, that's 3 stud RBs this haul (assuming we get D Johnson).  I worry they can't all play, and we still have Tice & McCray.

 

If Blakely is still a stud, he could be a 1 & Done, two years, while the younger guys RS.  But I suppose this is a good issue to have, unless it drives a good RB away, while we're still trying to figure out which is the best RB.

Even if Blakely were to transfer here (which I agree is probably unlikely if we sign the two we are hoping for), he would just be a depth guy at this point.

Who knows what Blakely's priorities are and if they match up with what we have to offer. We had a ton of playing time to offer QBs and RBs last year and Bench was the only one to take the bait. We lost out on what we thought was a perfect situation for Dyer, Trickett, Brandon Mitchell, etc. but they had other things in mind besides just playing time and USF didn't fit.
