Asante samuel never played for oleary.

Had JPP's academic situation been better he would not have signed with ucf out of high school or ended up at usf out of juco.

Difference is that I haven't called for anyone to be fired, demoted, etc.. What I said was don't wait until the season is lost to do something IF the defense sucks and its obvious its coaching.

Wasn't the DC part of the Georgia Tech NC squad?

Yes he was, under Bobby Ross, he was an assistant coach

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chuck_Bresnahan

Ancient history. Is college football the same as it was over 20 years ago? And no one mentioned the DC for that team he worked under, George O'Leary.  Just last year UCF game up almost 600 yards to...UAB. O'Leary has been lucky in getting all those great offensive players on UCF, like Brandon Marshall.

http://www.orlandosentinel.com/sports/blogs/knights-notepad/os-ucf-ucf-defense-gives-up-599-yards-of-offense-in-win-over-uab-20121124,0,2117578.post

Now who is going to say O'Leary is a defensive mastermind because he was the DC for the 1990 GT team that was co-national champs?

DEL was just asking a question and I was informing him he was correct. Hardly a request for your opinion of the relevance of his work there.

And did you really just break out a "lucky" argument about something? Really? LOL.

Oh, was DEL asking you specifically?

Do you really think Brandon Marshall would have gone to UCF if it was evident in high school how good he was going to be? His only other offer was UConn and the closest school to him that had a football program was UCF. Or Kevin Smith. He is from Miami, FL and besides UCF his only other offer was Akron. Either UCF has some outstanding recruiters or got lucky with some unranked recruits that had no other local offers and went with the college closest to them. So its either luck or they have some incredible recruiters. Which do you think, Mr. Football?

Wasn't insulting you, just stating an obvious observation.

I don't care that people don't agree with me, but the point of a discussion or debate is to take both schools of thought into account. You just wait for your turn to talk to regurgitate the same ideal over and over.

You mean like how many times you've come into the thread and said the same thing about me? Put it this way, when you post something, no one is surprised by your stand you are so predictable. And when have you admitted you were wrong about anything vs threatening violence when its questioned?

Chief, I'd bet my life that you wouldn't have said 1% of the slanderous remarks you've made towards me to my face. You can call my responses to your slanders here "threatening violence", that's fine. That's because if you DID say those slanderous remarks to my face, I'd place your teeth firmly into the back of your throat.

I can always admit when I'm wrong or when I like another's idea more than the status quo or my own, and I have done so on numerous occasions here on the board. I enjoy my back and forths with posters like BaltoBull and GAUSF because it's an enjoyable debate that always brings fresh ideas to the table that I hadn't thought of before and they also see where I'm coming from. You however become condescending and defensive whenever someone doesn't agree wit your points

How exactly would that be determined  ... especially in less than a season?

Being that more than one team ditched coordinators mid season last year, someone has figured it out how to do it.

At least one was in their first season.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
