Greg tweeted that CWT will not allow true Freshmen to speak to the media until the bowl game, Lynch and Bench will not be allowed to speak to the media until season opener, and the assistant coaches will not be available to the media after games.

It makes no impact on how the team plays so I really don't care.

Don't care.  His team, his rules.  Just need results

Not saying it's right or wrong. Just curious what people think about them.

Don't think I've ever made an effort to listen to a player's interview. My interest in USF football leans more towards the football.

CWT is the Man, and the Man is in control.  The players are young adults, but they're also "kids" too, they're away from home, "on their own" for the first time in their life and some strict discipline is good.

True freshmen should not have to worry about speaking to the media, they should have to focus on football and studies ONLY.

Lynch and Bench need all summer and early fall to get used to the system.  No distractions of worrying about the media.

As for the assistant coaches, they'll have their hands full turning these guys, many of them coming from a losing culture at USF, into winners.  Keeping their noses to the grindstone and keeping them from facing media, or saying something that Taggart doesn't want said.

Let the Man worry about the media.  I guess we'll see when the seasons over if CWT's methods work or not.

Kevin Sumlin has a similar rule at Texas A&M about players and the media. They did okay. I think it's fine.

Couldnt care less. The less interaction with the media, the better.
