What makes Dyer a bigger risk than Dunkley (who I believe beat his girlfriend with an extension cord and locked her in a closet)? If one is fine to take a chance on, why not the other?

Good point...one was just in the media spotlight and the other wasn't.

Okay, this whole thing seems mysterious to me.

 

1) Greg couldn't dig up anything. To me, this means it's all being kept very quiet @ USF.

Doesn't look like Greg dug up anything there other than the one Schad Tweet, making the same assumptions ... at least he didn't indicate he found out anything over and above that. I think Dyer would be a great addition, trusting CWT's judgment, and if it happens, it happens.

I doubt that any college player has ever won two national championships (much less BCS era) on two different teams.

Bring him in, make him the first, get him a Heisman, put us on the map permanently.

Cam Newton won 3 on 3 different teams in his 3 years in college

You're almost right, and I was VERY wrong. Just looked it up.

Cam played 4 years, and won a JuCo championship and the Auburn championship.

He played 2 years at UF, but left the team before the Gators won their championship.

I call that one-and-a-half (Auburn and Blinn).

I could have swore he left UF after the championship game. I saw a picture some whee that had a UF, Blinn and Auburn ring that ha had...

 

He would've had 3 Auburn rings:
