You know exactly what a must get is.

 

Basketball recruiting classes are made up with 4-5 guys. One guy can and will make or break a class.

 

Look at John Egbunu, without him, our class last year was very average. Our only marquee guy was Chris Perry, who is atleast another tier lower than Egbunu. So I considered John Egbunu, a must get.

As I posted earlier in this thread, Holston will unofficially visit USF Monday. He also is going to be there today for USF's elite camp too, so he'll be spending a lot time on campus these next few days.

I'm going to gone call it, this guy is USF's to lose. Hometown kid, his first major offer came from USF, family and friends get to watch him play by staying home, and he's friends with some of the guys already on the basketball team. We also have a pass first PG as Holston already has mentioned. True PGs do more then attract Bigs, they have the same effect on shooters like Troy Holston. Shooters like Holston are capable of getting a rhythm going and needs a true PG to understand that. By all accounts Troy Holston has a high basketball IQ and understanding of the little things which has made him and will continue to make him a success in basketball.

Hopefully, he wants to stay closer to home so his friends and family can come see him, like Vega mentioned earlier. UM is about 4 1/2 hours away. He's ours to lose. Let's hope he wants that family connection because some players could care less and want to get away, which is understandable.
