Aaron Holmes thinks he's headed to USF.

Yeah he's 99.9% sure, lol

I'll feel better if Holston never takes that trip to The U. Don't trust that place.

Vega, you post good stuff, but it's hard to read sometimes with the distracting avatar. :GoBulls:

It is alluring

Troy Holton has cut his list to two: South Florida and Miami.

The sweet shooting 6-foot-4 rising senior out of Oldsmar Christian School (Fla.) cut Marquette, Memphis, Alabama and Kansas State from his 6-school list before he took his visit to USF on Monday.

“I wanted to stay in state,†Holston told SNY.tv. “Why leave the state if I have those schools right here in my own back yard? Marquette, Kansas State, Memphis and Alabama are great schools, but it all came down to wanting to stay in the state.â€

Holston says that USF showed him a lot on his visit.

“They told me that they’ve seen both my good games, and my bad games, which is key,†Holston said. “Many schools have seen your good games, but not your bad games, so its nice that they have seen both, and what I am capable of.â€

Holston has a visit coming up to Coral Gables to visit the University of Miami on Saturday, and he says that a decision is not too far off.

“Hopefully after the visit to Miami, I will know know for sure what I want to do,†Holston said. “I hope that we can get this settled in the next couple of weeks.â€

Interesting.

For some reason, 247 has has him committed to USF as of today:

HA! That must be why!

Awesome.

Probably Miami adding James Palmer sealed the deal for us.

That's a momma's boy and she wants to watch and be around her son as much as possible. Troy isn't going anywhere my friend. He's USF's future starting SG and future star. Coach Wells will make a player out of him. Congrats to Stan Heath for getting Holston and imo the most important recruit he's gotten at USF. Well keeping Jones was the most important which played a big part in getting Holston.

So far I'm liking the fact that Heath is doing all the off campus recruiting, at least for the state of Florida.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
