IMHO Rudd is no DoJo and won't be DoJoesque.  That is wishful thinking.  Around the rim, he is electric.  I don't see the same desire to win nor the ability to take a team on his back.  No offense to Mr. Rudd, I just haven't seen those qualities - the qualities that got an undersized DoJo into the NBA.

Still haunted by DoJo passing up the game winning shot in the NC State NIT game, though ....

I'd like to see us score more points than other teams in more of our games than last year.

I want to see someone consistently drive to the hoop, put the other team in foul trouble, and make his free throws. Could it be Rudd?

Rudd has shown flashes, but he doesn't take it to the rack consistently.

If Rudd can consistently play SF and become comfortable there, he has the tools to become an opponent's nightmare.  Alas, consistency is VR's Achilles heel.  His dream of playing in "the league" will depend on that aspect.  Having one game full of highlight reel moments then two where he disappears into mediocrity won't be good for his eventual career or for the success of our season.

No post season and I'm joining the dark side.

I don't care what kind of post season, even if it's just the outside courts at USF, just get us into one.

I'd love to see us run a set offense.

You don't like the dribble dribble dribble then run a pick and roll with 10 seconds on the shot clock offense with an occasional back cut alley oop? Why not?????

I don't really care how we do it, I just want to win.
