They asked me to visit. Tennessee did too a whole ago. I would like to visit and have fun and stuff but I love USF too much man.

 

Technically, he didn't say he wouldn't accept an offer from Vandy.

He didnt bad mouth USF on the way out so no hard feelings. I can understand wanting to stay close home instead of 13 hours down I-75. Would of loved to have him on the team though.

Thought he was solid, that sucks.

Can't hope all our kids stay home and then get mad when someone else does the same.

I believe he said that he lives 40mins from Vandy.

Frankly, once Vandy offered I would have questioned the kid's decision making skills if he would have stayed with us.

Full ride to one of the top 15 or so schools in the country, pretty close to home where your family can see you play.

All other things being equal, the academic opportunity here makes this a no brainer.

Sometimes people play both sides of the middle. 

 

I really didn't expect him to give an exclusive to a fan of any school.

 

Not surprised at all, but like Porter, hate that a team that didn't give him the time of day 2 months ago, is now desperate and offers...and he sucks it up. This kid was "100% USF"...apparently, his math skills are lacking (or it's just kidspeak...I'm yours till I'm not).

 

But, it's his life, and we'll flip others...so we can't have it both ways.

 

Didn't think we'd be affected by the Penn State ripple effect, but here's our first casualty.
