usf hasn't produced winning programs so the money doesn't flow

very simple

usf needs new leadership that emphasizes winning

winning will bring money

UF did not win much before 1979 as the article states (and some of us are old enough to remember).  Very simple.  But, keep on droning and whining.

Love how you used the incorrect form of "there" as well.

Their (those tards are donating their money), They're (they're donating more money than us) , There (I wish we had an OCS like they do over there)

Ignoring the irony in that sentence, I'm pretty sure the bulk of their donations come from alumni.

They may have a lot of fans that haven't attended their school, but I'd venture to guess that their heavy hitters are all alumni. They've been churning out graduates for a really long time.

"With $34 million in contributions from its Gator Boosters private fundraising arm.."

WOW!!! Those rednecks sure are doing something right...

Their booster provide more than our entire athletics budget includinbg the money we involuntarily rake from the students.

Bull ****... The student fees have been in place for years now. Any student going to USF is advised of them before they start classes and I'm going to make the pretty easy assumption that students who enroll at USF have more than one choice of school to go to. It's part of going to college now. Get over it.

Student athletic fees are insane. No reason to prop programs like Tennis and Sailing on the students....

Who cares about UF's athletic budget. Isn't that like comparing Bill Gates savings account to Dionne Warwick's. Why even make the comparison?

well if bill gates and dionne warwick were both competing for the same job and how much money they had to spend was in direction relation to the ability to get that job...then I would say it is cause for a valid comparison.

but I think everyone needs to step back from the ledge.  The Gators have 4th and 5th generation graduates and I don't know how much time many of you have spent in the local business community, but Gator Alumni carry some pretty significant weight in a lot of industries.

I hate their sports programs, town, colors, and name as much as the next man but the fact is that they are a top notch public university and probably top 3 athletic departments in the country.  And they are in our backyard in more ways than one.

Grow up and whine about how we don't have good enough facilities for a while. Can't have your cake and eat it too.
