Las year Texas A&M just stopped providing a list of all of the fees and instead wrapped them all into one charge and called it the "University Advancement Fee" and its about $1,000 a semester depending on credit hours so you have no idea where the money goes. Fees are a scam at every university if you ask me. I think all should be optional or just included in tuition if we don't have any choice anyway. I actually think the student contribution to athletics at USF is okay considering the benefits sports has for the university.
