The first time I ever saw FSU play was over at the Citrus Bowl - against Wake Forest - back in '96.

If we were a non-issue...the article would not have been written. Bringing FSU is a great opportunity for FSU fans to see the 'noles if they can't / won't get tix to Tallyhassle games. I find it odd that they were under the impression that there would be a plethora of premium seats made available. Is it that there is a bit of heartburn at not selling out Doak - week after week - that so irritates about the trip to TPA? Sounds like most of the discontent comes from coming here rather than actually playing USF. Their AD seemed happy with the decision, so...

Didn't FSU need the state senate to force UF into playing them?

Here's a nasty one about FSU not being able to hack it in the Big12

http://aol.sportingnews.com/ncaa-football/story/2012-05-13/fsu-seminoles-acc-joining-big-12-rumors

Fourteen straight years of national dominance by FSU has been followed by 11 years of irrelevance. That’s not an anomaly and it’s not cyclical. It’s a program that has reinvented itself by assimilating into its surroundings.

Now a bunch of cash is suddenly going to make everything better? Go ahead and get fat and happy by feeding at the Big 12 trough, FSU.

The slaughter is coming.

Maybe they're just taking frustrations out on us? :)

Holding a diploma from both USF and FSU, I have developed quite a taste for a fine whine.  Both have a long way to go in realizing potential.

Are there more FSU to B12 rumors?  This article was allegedly posted two days ago and there is a lot of talk that FSU is ready to jump to the B12 to get more money.  Is that a wrong date on the article, or are the rumors heating back up despite the GOR being "agreed" to?

Not sure what the problem is. USF will be "back" by then and these will be great in-state games. Great for the programs, great for attendance, great for the fans.

For the FSU fans who say they have "nothing to gain" I call BS, especially when Texas State and Chattanooga are on your schedule as if you have something to gain from those games.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
