    We will be paying FOR dogie for the next 20 years at least! I'd be curious to hear the thoughts from our new AD about how he plans to use the cleared up capital - beyond the obvious of paying our current head football coach's buy out. Probably to make up for our negative income while operating a failure of a football team.

    it doesn't matter how they perform against the have-nots; they're still going to get a ton of money from their contracts. you guys need to stop worrying about how we do against those teams because we're still going to be left out. none of those guys are going to be embarrassed after a loss when they hug their huge piles of cash.

    FYI - the bookstore is the only place I've found to have the legit correct colors. other retailers in the area have similar ones that have slightly different coloring.

    authentic replicas (not suitable for game use) are around 140 and available int he bookstore. i believe they have the gold ones and the white ones at full size. if you're looking for a game-used helmet, then the only way you'll find it is ebay. i have a few replicas and a game used one and that's the only way i was able to obtain them.

    $500k is pennies for the Big 10. They make millions per year each just from tv, let alone tickets and merchandise.

    apis- i see you are a problem identifier not a problem solver they should go after an under educated kid that is already being exploited! makes no sense and let cliven bundy keep stealing if kids were paid fair market value there would be no problem I'm sure most would agree that SOMETHING has to be done, but just not so sure unionization is the best way to go about this. I'm not a tax expert so I don't know of any other ways to make sure their compensation is fair and taxable. to be honest, the worst consequence of this would be if a team went on strike right before a game. who is to say this couldn't/wouldn't happen if they were unionized?

    we can barely get people to come when tickets are $5. we have much larger problems.

    An invite to a P5 conference Is much more important than an on campus stadium. The new hire could have insight or pull to get USF into a P5 conference. I would take P5 over on campus stadium all day long. why not both?

    I hope you're right, but we do say the same thing every year.

    sadly i must recommend that you each mortgage your house and go all in on UCF covering - think about it... they're hot this year, we're garbage, and this is their superbowl. this is the most important and biggest game of their lives. they've never been more excited about a game in the history of their program. Trust me, they're going to cover.

    last time i checked, if they're wearing a USF shirt and/or buying a game ticket then they aren't doing that for another team. like it or not, we benefit from those fans.
