Looks like @TomahawkNation is confirming. He is transfering, with USF and WVU as options. 

 

That 2013 AAC championship is looking a lot closer right now.

No. He has enough credits to be a graduate transfer and play immediately. (per other internets people)

He was a RS Junior last year, no?

@caingle: Assuming that since Trickett graduates in May, he can play right away while pursuing a graduate degree. Could be a huge bailout for #USF.

@TheStateOfTheU: FWIW, I'm hearing USF will be Trickett's landing spot.

From what I heard, he is graduating this spring and will be eligible to play this fall as a grad student...But who knows with all these false reports going around.

OK after freaking the hell out for 5 minutes, word on the street is as long as he 

1. Graduates and 

2. FSU doesn't offer the grad program he wants

The Miami Herald says he's been released from his scholarship and he graduates in a few weeks.

Makes sense. I graduate in may. Clint graduates in May. I'm going to FSU for grad school in the fall. Clint comes to USF for grad school in the fall. FSU is giving me a free ride. USF will give Clint a free ride. BOOM, even trade!
