Bobby, Matt, or Mike?

If I was a JUCO Transfer right now, I would be licking my chops for an opportunity like this

Bobby will start opening game and play maybe a half.

 

Mike White plays the rest of the way.

 

I want the QB who knows how to WIN to be the starter.  Bobby:  3 starts...  0-3.  Matty:  3 starts... 0-3

 

Mikey has just as many wins as a starter here as the other two.  Difference is:  I don't think Matty or Bobby had a 14-0 senior season in high school, win a state title, and have Tom Brady like numbers.

Couple of things... There are no Juco's out there worth it right now. It has been mentioned, but a transfer is always possible. White had a great senior year, and I think he is the future, but let's slow down a bit. He went 14-0 and passed for 2000 and change; that's not quite Brady like. Think about Teddy Bridgewater... Dude didn't start until halfway through the season his freshmen year, and he is a rare breed.

I guess I should clarify I meant JUCO/transfer, the transfer is more likely - but I was still thinking of a guy who wouldn't give us more than maybe one year of playing time.

Bobby will start throughout the year.  Mark my words:  he will have a career year.  We won't be going to the NC game and may not even win the BE, but he'll have a good year as well as the whole team. 

 

Taggart's system will not make the QB make multiple reads like the old system.  It's run the ball and play-action.  Bobby is a fixed-position throwing QB and Taggart's system will fit him well.

Taggart's system may not make the QB make reads "like the old system", but the QB will absolutely have to make reads and adjust the play that's called. QB coach and Taggart both said last night that the QB has got to be smart enough to get the rb's in the correct set.

 

I'm gonna go with Bobby Eveld.

I think Bobby, and White will be last years Eveld, as in he's a redshirt if he isn't forced into action. I don't see Floyd playing.

From what I saw on Mike's highlight vids and watching his state title game...nearly every ball he threw would have been a pick at the college level. I say we red shirt him and let the two clowns of Bobby and Matt decide who is going to hand the ball off 50 times a game. Bobby is extremely injury prone also.
