as much as i admire and respect Joe, he might be too old for the move. i can't see him travelling around recruiting heavily. i'd prefer to see him stay at Manatee and be USF's farm program.

esto. We could use a guy at Plant+Manatee+Armwood. Kinnan would be our MHS guy. Even if it only adds up to one extra recruit per year. That is one less for UF, FSU, and UM

Who was Shannon's DC when he was in Miami. I'm not sure if he was good recruiter because the people in south Florida love to play for Miami..

Just playing devil's advocate for "Kinnan to OC", but would it be more beneficial to the program to have him continue at the H.S. where he has been so successful and feed us the top players from that vantage point?

Very selfish of me, I admit, but this is exactly what I was thinking...

Football Scoop <free blog> is reporting. South Florida: Head strength coach Mike Golden has been let go.That was posted on the 14th. No reason why.

Yay!

IMO this position was the second worst to Skippy - Not sure if it was Golden's fault for not prepping them properly or Skip's fault for not making them take Golden seriously enough. Either way, good riddance.

If he comes on the cheap (Kinnan) sounds good to me.

What about Weiner? Hear he is a great recruiter.

can we have a Woodie and a Weiner at the same time? Sounds like a double team if you ask me.

You can only have a Woodie, a Weiner and a Willie if you have a stripper boat to launch them from. **** the torpedoes... Full speed ahead....
