that's better for us I think. in fact I think it gives us more time. I don't see us competing with cincy for a coach. maybe but I think they like some one from their region and I don't think we're looking at MAC coaches.

lol I suggested on the ESPN blog they just take Dan Enos (at CMU) and get it over with. At the worst, he's only gonna be there 3 years lol

This is a good thing for USF. We won't compete with UC for a coach for the most part, though they may give a look to Willie Taggart. They seem to still like pulling coaches from the north/midwest for whatever reason, if only to keep some semblance of recruiting in Ohio and the Rust Belt. Plus it hasn't been hard for their coaches who aren't familiar with Florida to come in and pull FL recruits after they give a beating or two to USF and now they have the opportunity to play UCF as well for more FL visits. I feel like they could look at a Bud Foster or a Big 10 assistant, maybe a Luke Fickell.

Some of their fans were already clamoring for Petrino or Tressel. ha.

And apparently the Tennessee fans aren't overjoyed with the BJ hire.

Those MAC coaches have done so poorly for them. Only a win or share 4 conference titles in the last 5 years. That must really suck. I believe we are 1-5 against those 2 MAC coaches, too.

God, there is a model we don't want to follow.

Thanks for sharing. I dont think we need to hurry, rather be right than quick. However, the longer this goes on the more likely we end up with someone off the radar which will send this place into riots.
