Basketball Open House for FB Season Tix Holders

I had a really great time... and it sealed the deal on ST's for me.

The tour was great... I hadn't been in the Muma Center since it was under constructiion... the finished product is beyond words. They brought us thru the tunnel into the Sun Dome... I've seen tons of pictures... but ****... I literally said Holy Crap... and I wasn't the only one. That place is absolutely amazing!!! Stan Heath talked for about 30 min and then took questions and then Bill McGillis took questions as well. Both stayed till after 8pm to shake hands and talk to people.

Beer was available for purchase and they had lemonade and tea with snacks for the us. It was a great event IMO... I'll have two ST's by Friday.

BTW... they said the entire lower bowl is sold out except for 6 tickets... and I think I saw those go tonight. Upper bowl is over 3/4 sold and they're having a corporate event last night for businesses to purchase ST's. We could have some really good crowds this year.

I was looking on Ticketmaster for a couple extra tickets for the USF/UCF game....nothing open in the 1st level, maybe 100 in the second. John Lewis said they'll be opening the 3rd level too. Let's sell this thing out early.

If that is accurate then we are looking at a season ticket base of around 6.5k - 8k. That would be an awesome increase.

Event was terrific. Anyone who missed out or is on the fence about tickets, just come to one game this year just for the hell of it. The new facility is definitely a new chapter for USF bball

The first USF basketball game in the "New" Sun Dome is on Saturday November 10th at 2 pm.......be there!!!

There is actually an exhibition game on 11/5 vs Eckerd that is included in your season ticket package. I didn't realize that until they came in the mail yesterday.

I really like the Arena Club. They didn't have the Student Club open, though, so I couldn't get a look see in there.

I threw together a slide show of some of the pictures I took. I can't wait for November 10. It's going to be fun.

There's no way .... maybe that's for the first game ... don't get me wrong, that would be awesome beyond words but I just can't believe the upper level is 3/4 sold with season tickets.

Me too!! Wish I had pulled the trigger earlier since all the Club section seating was gone. Did get seats just above the club section though. I couldn't believe how many seats have already been sold..........awesome but angry about waiting. Frankly, if the FB was actually doing well I might have spent extra money on FB away games and a Bowl Game (fat chance) and just picked up single game tickets for BB on Stub Hub.
