A USF Football "Would you rather"

Would you rather...

USF represent the Big East in its BCS game and LOSE?

or have another team more capable of winning play in that game and WIN?

I personally don't want to stomach any more criticism of our conference. If i had to chose between these 2, id pick the big east winning our BCS game finally.

Sure I hope its us. I just hope whoever it is, we kick the **** out of our opponent

I will always support USF before the conference. Just the experience of going to a BCS game would be great as it would mean that we were BE Champs (or at least won the tie breaker). As far as I am concerned we are overdue in winning this conference.

We need credibility in the BE, though it is unwarranted how the conf has been treated.

Big 10 and ACC get a hall pass even in bad seasons, because they have tradition.

BE has a slightly off year where teams compete with each other on a similar level, and we get no respect.

If there was a "more capable" team then I guess they should have won the conference.  The Big East has the most fair way to determine a champion of any BCS conference.  I'm with KB's assessment.

Winnning the conference is the next step this program needs to take.  Screw everyone else in the BE and even if the BE wins a BCS game the media will keep on hating on it, just like after the 3 the BE has already won.
