Some of you would actually prefer that a team other than USF win the Big East?

Guest nybullsfan
This reminds me of the NCAA / NIT discussion a couple of years back.Easy answer: our goal is always to win the BE Championship and go to the BCS Bowl Game.I'd much rather USF go than any other team. End of story.

I only support the BE because USF is currently in the BE. I didn't support the BE b/f USF was a member. I am loyal to my school first. Go Bulls! Which we all know dominated this conference and used it as a spring board to many great seasons/titles. Everyone knows that it's only a matter of time before USF becomes an annual top 25 and then top 10 program being in the position that it is in with it's size, geographic positioning etc. We've got a mega high ceiling vs. someone like Uconn so just "being there" will have a much bigger impact for us as a program so even if we lose, we win if that makes sense. Have to take that.

Also, the BE champ most likely will play in the Orange Bowl against the ACC champ (provided the ACC champ does not end up in the Championship game ). Given that we are 7-3 against the ACC since joining the BE I wouldn't chalk that up as a loss just yet.
