Once TCU moves on over I doubt we will have an issue with losing our BCS game...

Really?

does everyone here really think the rest of the nation admires UConn for being in a BCS game? No, they are the joke of the BCS and it'd be better for them if they had beat NC State in the BE 2nd bowl game and WVU beat Oklahoma.

It's not theory its reality - a team that goes to a BCS bowl needs to win or you go home with a financial and credibility loss (see: national perception of Uconn).

Playing in a good conference is way too important. would the sun belt conference champion trade places with the last place team in the ACC/SEC/BE/BIGX? Yes. If i had to make a deal with the devil and trade a USF win in Bowl game #2 for a guaranteed big east win in the BCS game, I'd do it.

USF represent the Big East in its BCS game and LOSE = $$$$$$

Ask Uconn about that.

UCONN also had to fly across the world to get to its game.  The orange bowl would be smart to pick us if we made it. Only a four hour drive to get there, is an easy choice if you ask me.

if we are in a BCS game it means we won our conference...

therefore i take the loss in the BCS game.

So the Sun Belt champion would choose to go 1-11 getting the **** kicked out of them every week rather than win the conference and go to a bowl game? Gotcha.

Remember you said switch places with the last place team, not simply join the conference.

You're overthinking it.  We just want the Bulls to win as many games as they can and the chips will fall as they fall.  If that means winning the conference and getting 50 dropped on us in front of a national TV audience so be it.  That's like saying we would have rather lost to Auburn and WVU in '07 so we wouldn't have had to suffer the fall from #2.  **** that, it's all about the ride and that was a hell of a ride.

Quit living in fear.  I would rather play in the nat championship game and get beat by the most lopsided score ever than to not play in it.  Football is a game.  It is meant to be played.

Go Bulls!
