It's funny if you think about it.  We've been around for 11 years and Sports Authority won't jump on the bandwagon and sell Bulls gear until we're popular.  Duemig won't talk USF football on his show or show us any love until we're popular.  Hey Pot, meet Kettle. 

Sports Authority had a lot of inventory when the program first started...much of it ended up on the clearance rack...

I hate dipshit bandwagoning fans. " I wanted USF to lose to FAU so the fans could come back down to reality." These Dumig callers call into the show saying crap like this b/c they think Dumig's will agree with them.

Fans of other schools are now having trouble cheering for us because we have moved out of that "cute little team" stage. They now keep saying that they want the fans brought back down to earth for no other reason than we believe the same thing that every major poll in America believes, that we are a top five team. For some reason our belief that we belong, exactly where we are, is now seen as arrogance by other fans ::)

Reality is what is there.  Reality is that they haven't lost yet and have the ability to run the table if they play hard.

Good point... the problem is that Sports Authority is a large chain and can't react quickly.  There is some yahoo in charge of purchasing (in another state most likely) who has probably never heard of USF, let alone know there is a store less than mile away from the campus.

I think Sports Authority is based in Miami ...

The one in Lakeland has a few things including the Grothe #8 jersey and I bought some stuff at the University Mall location before I graduated a few years ago.

the sports authority in lakeland probably sells usf merch because its grothes ol' stompin' grounds....which is ok by me.  ;)
