that would be a good matchup in Rd. 1

That is a great matchup....the team I would really like to see if we get in is Dayton.  I think that team is way overrated and seeded

This NET system sucks.   As far as I can tell, its just a bunch of circular references.  Just like the football rankings, it all depends on where you are (and your opponents are) rated before the season even begins.

The NET rankings don't start until a month or so into the season ....

When they do start being calculated, what rankings set the starting base?  What determines which quad you're in when it starts?  Confused, thanks.

For what its worth we have moved up a seed line 11 is about as good as we can do...and is my favorite seed line to be a cinderella.

This might be Lunardi’s admission that perhaps USF does have a shot at the NCAAT as an at-large after all. He moved one of the play-in games to the 12-line (previously both were 11vs11 matchups) with USF now moving up from 12 to 11.

Grand Canyon (WAC) and Indiana St (MVC) are listed as automatic qualifiers as 11-seeds, also ahead of the last play-in game teams.

Richmond (A10) took over first place ahead of Dayton and thus is listed as an AQ for now (as 12-seed), stealing an at-large spot since they likely wouldn’t be in otherwise.

First NET rankings for this year came out December 4th so they had the results from all games up to that point to dump into a database and AI went to work crunching the numbers, like any other computer based ranking system, just apparently using different criteria from others. Kind of explained in this article ........ maybe?

If I'm understanding things correctly, the Quads are just a kind of an illustration of the rankings (not sure if that makes sense), for the Committee to look at when selection time comes

I can't believe Colorado St has a 6 seed in this bracket. How embarrassing to have this team 5 seeds higher than us. With 2 losses this week, CSU is now 20-8.
